Plant-Based
A Plant-Baseddiet
BASE V STANDS FOR “BASE VEGETALE”, THE LITERAL TRANSLATION OF THE ENGLISH EXPRESSION “PLANT-BASED”. A PLANT-BASED DIET RELIES ON UNPROCESSED NATURAL FOODS, OTHER THAN THE OCCASIONAL EXCEPTIONS FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF MEAT, FISH, AND DERIVATIVES. OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE HOMEMADE, UNPROCESSED, PLANT-BASED FOOD ACCESSIBLE, EASY TO EAT, WITH THE GOAL OF SPREADING A MORE SUSTAINABLE AND HEALTHY WAY OF EATING.
Sustainability
SUSTAINABILITY CONSCIOUS
SUSTAINABILITY IS A PRIORITY FOR US. WE WORK CONTINUOUSLY TO MINIMIZE THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF OUR ACTIVITIES AND PRODUCTS. ALL OUR PACKAGING IS COMPOSTABLE OR MADE OF 100% RECYCLABLE PET: WE USE PLA (POLYLACTIC ACID) ENCLOSURES, A CORN DERIVATIVE THAT APPEARS SIMILAR TO PLASTIC IN TRANSPARENCY AND CONSISTENCY. OUR PRIORITY REMAINS MAKING PLANT-BASED HEALTHY FOOD READILY ACCESSIBLE, HOWEVER, WE CONTINUOUSLY STRIVE TO REDUCE OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ON ALL FRONTS.
Natural Food
Learning to Eat improves your health and energy level
NATURAL FOOD IS RICH IN NUTRIENTS, PROTEINS, VITAMINS, FATS, AND HEALTHY CARBOHYDRATES: THE PERFECT FUEL FOR OUR BODY. AVOIDING PROCESSED FOOD AND ADDED SUGAR REDUCES THE RISK OF INFLAMMATION, DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS, AND IMPROVES YOUR HEALTH.
Inclusivity
We believe in creating inclusive and diverse environments
At Base V Juicery we strongly value inclusivity in everything we do. We believe that by creating inclusive environments both for our employees and clients we can contribute to allowing for the exchange of ideas, cultures, and acceptance of different points of view. The first step to creating an inclusive environment is to have an inclusive and diverse team. Base V currently employs over 22 people and, many more worked in our stores throughout the years. We love diversity and appreciate professionality. All our stores are LBGTQIA+ friendly both front and behind the counter. As we grow we will work to create policies that ensure that we maintain an inclusive hiring policy ensuring equal opportunities to all candidates.
